Shusokumb Bag

I cannot stand it when my feet hurt. And they seem to hurt a lot lately. To offset this, I wear my most comfortable flats or sneakers no matter where I’m going — dinner, business meeting, interview, black tie event — and tote my dress shoes and a just-in-case-umbrella in a shopping bag. I know, I know. It’s not the most stylish tote; it can be cumbersome, especially when I load it down with platform heels, an extra pair of stockings, the aforementioned umbrella, extra pack of tissues, my stash of emergency cosmetics and anything else I feel I’ll need but may not be able to fit in a small handbag.

Guilty of the same? Then you’re gonna love what I’ve just discovered …

The spacious Shusokumb tote bag (pronounced Shu-Sock’ Em – for Shoes, Socks and Umbrella bag) was designed with the active, stylish woman in mind. It has a soft shoulder strap for comfortable carrying – and when you unzip? It’s a whole new world. Pockets and zippers reveal hideaways for everything from your iPhone, Blackberry and iPod and lipstick to water bottles and what-nots.

And while it’s large enough to hold your life, the Shusokumb tote’s vertical design (tote size is 14” x 14” x 6”) is compact enough for travel on subways, trains or buses. It’s a fully functional bag that gives “life on-the-go” a whole new meaning.

The Shusokumb tote bag comes in black, beige, navy, red and green, retails for $39.95 and can only be purchased online at Shusokumb’s Web site at http://www.shusokumb.com. Two dollars from the sale of each bag is donated to ZERO – The Project to End Prostate Cancer to help make a difference in the fight against prostate cancer.

The bag was designed by Robert Ginyard, a Baltimore-based entrepreneur and prostate cancer survivor, who has partnered with ZERO – The Project to End Prostate Cancer and is committed to increasing awareness about prostate cancer and improving the lives of men and their families.

Stumped for the perfect gift for the woman who has everything? You just found it, don’t you think? It’s on my gift list – plus I’m picking one up for myself.

Works for me …
