Nicole Miller debuted her Spring/Summer 2017 fashions this past Friday, September 9th. While she took her inspiration for her modern, edgy designs from the rich, colorful traditional fabrics of Panama combined with the contemporary influences of New York City, the hair looks, created by Tomo Jidal for PHYTO Paris were a modern and even bo-ho chic take on classic French beauty. Models sported center parts, long textured waves and bangs.

To get the look, apply PHYTO PHYTO Phytokeratine Repairing Spray and PHYTO Intense Volume Mousse, section by section.

Then distribute PHYTO Phytolisse Serum mid-lengths to the ends. Blow dry while raking fingers through the hair. Use tongs of a 1 inch or half inch curling iron (depending on hair length) to create a ridge sort of texture on hair. Style large sections at a time.

Brush out the hair with a large comb or fingers. Attach the fringe/bangs clip (match extensions color to hair color) which have already been texturized using PHYTO Intense Volume Mousse and PHYTO Phytokeratine Repairing Spray.

Cut the fringe to the right length.

Apply PHYTO Phytovolume Actif Spray all over then shake the hair out.

Floaty chiffons, lingerie looks and slip dresses evocative were hallmarks of Jill Stuart’s Spring 2017 collection that took its influence from the ballet and that debuted last week at New York Fashion Week. As for the hair, it was mostly long, parted down the center, piece-y and textured, giving it movement as it danced down the runway.

To get the look, prep hair with PHYTO Phytokeratine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray from root to end. Add a pea size amount of PHYTO 9 or PHYTO 7 from mid-shaft to end, depending on hair texture. Section hair in the fringe area and add a few light mists of the PHYTO PhytoPlage Protective Sun Veil. Sweep a section of hair behind the ears, leaving the fringe section up front. Smooth and set the hair close to the head with hands. Add a pea size amount of PHYTO Professional Strong Sculpting Gel from root to eyeliner. Diffuse hair with a sock diffuser. Throughout the diffusing, spray PHYTO Phytolaque Soie Light Hold Hair Spray to set the hair.

ColorProof Evolved Color Care and Bio Ionic swept the runway with the latest trends in hair by stylist Anthony Turner at NYFW’s Prabal Gurung Spring 2017 fashion show. The hair looks complemented the rock and roll, yet feminine collection that showcased body conscious skirts and dresses, some with multiple slits; graphic printing, and pantsuits, in a nod to Hillary Clinton, although we’ve never Clinton wear anything the likes of these.  To get the look …

Begin with freshly shampooed hair using ColorProof ClearItUp Detox Shampoo ($34).

Apply ColorProof IronMaster Color and Heat Protecting Setting Spray ($32) to damp hair for all over heat protection.

Prep the hair with ColorProof LiftIt Color Protect Foam Mousse ($26), adding 2-3 pumps to each hair section, starting from the bottom; blow dry with Bio Ionic GoldPro Dryer ($135) infused with 24k gold for even heat conductivity. Use the Bio Ionic GoldPro Medium Round Brush ($18) to create even texture.

Once dry, apply 1-2 pumps of ColorProof RadicallySmooth Anti-Frizz Serum ($28) to rid hair of any flyaways.

Using Bio Ionic GoldPro Paddle Brush ($18), create a messy middle part; fluff the hair forward covering most of the forehead; bend the front pieces on either side of the face and pin back so a bend is created when hair is released.

Pull a few loose pieces forward and use Bio Ionic GoldPro Curling Iron 1” ($90), a conditioning tool used to infuse moisture back into the hair, to create extremely light, deconstructed waves for soft texture around the face and in the back of the head, spray ColorProof HardCore Epic Hold Color Protect Hairspray ($24) all over to secure for a long lasting soft wave.

Apply ColorProof TextureCharge Color Protect Texture + Finishing Spray ($32) to complete the look.
