The warm weather always sneaks up on me. I don’t know why. I know it’s coming – but I’m never ready for it. I am loathe to pack away my cozy sweaters, long sleeved shirts and long pants for body-baring clothing. Tattoo Protection, a sun protection lotion that contains an SPF of 30 and offers the protection of a sunblock without the greasy or heavy feel. It’s formulated so as not to leave a white film that dulls your tattoos, but, trust me, you don’t need tattoos to love this product. It goes on as light as air; has a slight sweet, clean smell and, because it’s formulated without Parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes and Triclosan (a chemical commonly found in skin care products and that’s currently under review by the Food and Drug Administration), it’s safe enough to use on children. Peep Show™, a skin firming lotion that contains caffeine and natural extracts to make skin feel tighter and firmer. Peep Show, which is infused with the essence of guava, smells heavenly and the scent lingers. I tested Peep Show on my upper arms and it made a definite difference in how my skin felt. Like all The Body Bartender products, Peep Show is formulated without all the extra and questionably safe chemicals that are found in so many skin care products. Cost: $18.50.
Peek-a-Booty™ Tush Tightener, is a firming lotion that moisturizes. It’s formulated with natural ingredients to help minimize the appearance of cellulite. The active component is Lipocare™, a proprietary combination of ingredients that penetrate and help plump the skin to give it a firm and smooth appearance. Fragrance-free Peek-a-Booty is also devoid of unnecessary chemicals and can be used on any part of the body to help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Cost: $21.50.
