Fashion’s Night Out in Los Angeles

Junk Food FNO Tee

In LAJunk Food Clothing opens up a pop-up shop at Westfield Mall to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, September 8 from 6-10 pm. The special Pop Up Shop will be placed at the end of the red carpet where attendees will have the chance to experience a full-on shopping experience, with live custom screen printing (courtesy of Family Industries Printing Company) and purchase their Junk Food tees for a discounted rate of $20 with proceeds donated to FIDM Museum and Galleries Foundation. Mayor Villaraigosa is scheduled to make a special appearance at 7 p.m. to help kick-off the evening’s festivities, which include a high-end fashion show hosted by LL Cool J featuring the latest collections from retailers throughout the center. Runway “models” include The Secret Life of an American Teenager’s Francia Raisa and Dancing with the Stars Peta Murgatroyd, Million Dollar Listing’s Josh Altman, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Dana Wilkey.

Junk Food Clothing also partners with St. Vincent Meals On Wheels to feed with fashion through “Cart for a Cause”. The Junk Food “Cart for a Cause” truck will be parked on Rodeo Drive during Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, September 8, and the first 100 diners will receive complimentary Junk Food tees with their celebrity chef-crafted meals. The revolutionary “Cart for a Cause” program was created to significantly help people in need by simply doing what we do every day: Eat. S.V.M.O.W. has partnered with world-renowned chefs (including Nobu Matsuhisa, Wolfgang Puck, and Salvatore Marino) and socially minded-companies to offer a chef-curated roving meal cart throughout major corporate and leisure centers in Los Angeles where 100% of the proceeds benefit the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels program communicated through CFAC’s Twitter and Facebook Pages. For just $10, a customer gets a freshly prepared gourmet meal, healthy beverage, and snack/dessert served on eco-friendly dinnerware.  The program is one-for-three: Every meal sold feeds a homebound senior citizen for an entire day (three full meals).  The cart consistently sells out meals each day and has become an extremely popular food option in the Los Angeles area.
